Mr Omar Haddo, BSc MBBS, FRCS(T&O) - Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon
Omar Haddo is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in shoulder, upper limb and trauma surgery. His skills include arthroscopic surgery for the shoulder and elbow and also shoulder resurfacing arthroplasty.
His interest in shoulders and upper limb surgery was honed at the internationally renowned Reading Shoulder Unit.
Omar studied medicine at St Bartholomew's Hospital Medical School, London (1990 - 1996) and undertook a BSc in Clinical Sciences at St Mary's Hospital, London (1995). He was appointed to the Stanmore Orthopaedic Training Programme in 2002. During this time he experienced various aspects of orthopaedics including peripheral nerve repair, paediatric orthopaedics and bone tumour surgery at Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital and the Royal National Orthopaedics Hospital.
A member of the British Orthopaedic Association and has published several scientific papers and book chapters. He has presented at many national and international meetings and is heavily involved in teaching. He has been a faculty member on various orthopaedic and shoulder courses.
He currently holds an NHS appointment at the Whittington Hospital.

Mr Simon Moyes, MB FRCS.ORTH - Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon
Simon Moyes is a consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon who has had a special interest in shoulder and elbow problems and surgery since 1990.
He studied medicine at The Middlesex Hospital Medical School qualifying in 1982 his orthopaedic training was on The Westminster Registrar Programme and the Stanmore Senior Orthopaedic Registrar Programme. During this time he studied under Mr Bayley and Mr Calvert on The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital’s Shoulder Unit. He also studied abroad with Dr David Sonnabend in Sydney, a shoulder specialist in 1992 and 1993. He was awarded an ARC Fellowship in 1994 to carry out research into shoulder problems at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.
He is a member of the British Elbow and Shoulder Society and a Member of the British Orthopaedic Association. His skills include arthroscopic/minimally invasive management of shoulder and elbow problems.

Mr Peter Reilly
Peter Reilly trained at St. Mary's Hospital and was awarded the Hepburn Memorial Prize in final MBBS. He completed basic surgical training in Reading and Oxford, before being appointed Specialist Registrar, North West Thames orthopaedic training program. As a higher surgical trainee he was awarded the Kessel prize by the British Elbow and Shoulder Society in 2000, and the Robert Jones Medal and British Orthopaedic Association Prize in 2002. After this, Peter spent a year's Fellowship in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at the Nuffield Orthopaedic Centre, Oxford.
Peter was appointed as a consultant at St. Mary's in 2005 and made British Elbow and Shoulder Society European Travelling Fellow in 2006. He has presented in the UK and internationally, and is the author of peer reviewed papers and book chapters in the field of shoulder surgery.
He is also honorary senior lecturer in the Biomedical Engineering division at Imperial College, and is on the specialist register for trauma and orthopaedics. He is a member of the British Orthopaedic Association and British Elbow and Shoulder Society.
