Mr Omar Haddo, BSc MBBS, FRCS(T&O) - Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon
Omar Haddo is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in shoulder, upper limb and trauma surgery. His skills include arthroscopic surgery for the shoulder and elbow and also shoulder resurfacing arthroplasty.
His interest in shoulders and upper limb surgery was honed at the internationally renowned Reading Shoulder Unit.
Omar studied medicine at St Bartholomew's Hospital Medical School, London (1990 - 1996) and undertook a BSc in Clinical Sciences at St Mary's Hospital, London (1995). He was appointed to the Stanmore Orthopaedic Training Programme in 2002. During this time he experienced various aspects of orthopaedics including peripheral nerve repair, paediatric orthopaedics and bone tumour surgery at Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital and the Royal National Orthopaedics Hospital.
A member of the British Orthopaedic Association and has published several scientific papers and book chapters. He has presented at many national and international meetings and is heavily involved in teaching. He has been a faculty member on various orthopaedic and shoulder courses.
He currently holds an NHS appointment at the Whittington Hospital.

Mr Simon Moyes, MB FRCS.ORTH - Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon
Simon Moyes is a consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon who has had a special interest in shoulder and elbow problems and surgery since 1990.
He studied medicine at The Middlesex Hospital Medical School qualifying in 1982 his orthopaedic training was on The Westminster Registrar Programme and the Stanmore Senior Orthopaedic Registrar Programme. During this time he studied under Mr Bayley and Mr Calvert on The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital’s Shoulder Unit. He also studied abroad with Dr David Sonnabend in Sydney, a shoulder specialist in 1992 and 1993. He was awarded an ARC Fellowship in 1994 to carry out research into shoulder problems at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.
He is a member of the British Elbow and Shoulder Society and a Member of the British Orthopaedic Association. His skills include arthroscopic/minimally invasive management of shoulder and elbow problems.

Mr Giuseppe Sforza MD - Consultant Orthopaedic, Shoulder and Elbow Surgeon
Giuseppe Sforza studied medicine at University of Bari, Italy, 1986 - 1992. After his general surgical training, he continued his higher orthopaedic training at the same University. He spent periods of fellowship at Danderyd Hospital - Karolinska Institute, Stockholm - Sweden and as visiting fellow at the Southern California Orthopaedic Institute Los Angeles, United States.
In 1999 he was appointed shoulder surgery fellow at the Reading Shoulder Unit at the Royal Berkshire Hospital under Stephen Copeland and Ofer Levy, where he gained vast experience in shoulder and elbow surgery.
In 2000 after completion of his fellowship at the Reading Shoulder Unit, he returned to Italy and was appointed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Matera, Italy as head of the shoulder and elbow unit and from 2006 at Policlinico di Bari at the University Hospital. Since 2001 he attended annually the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, United States for visiting fellowships under S. O'Driscoll and B. Morrey to improve his knowledge and clinical practice in elbow surgery. Since October 2004 he joined the Reading Shoulder Unit In 2007, he was appointed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon in Redditch, Worchester NHS Trust. He is member of the board of the Italian Shoulder and Elbow Society and of the member of the Italian Arthroscopy Society where he serves on the Educational Committee. He is ordinary member of The British Shoulder and Elbow Society and of the European Society of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery. He has published scientific papers and chapters to books on Shoulder and Elbow Surgery and lectures on several topics: Shoulder and Elbow arthroscopy, arthroplasty, sports injury, postoperative rehabilitation. He undertake open and arthroscopic shoulder, elbow and upper limb surgery including: trauma, arthroplasty: primary and revision, stabilization, tendons repair and transfer around the upper girdle.
